About us.
“Tauber Karl Munter” offers primarily small and mid-sized companies at home and abroad with professional consulting in all business-related and tax-law-relevant questions. We can analyze the opportunities and risks for all extraordinary company re-organizations as well as for ordinary business activities. We provide our clients with support in all decision-making processes. Our consulting office fulfills all of the necessary prerequisites to perform these tasks:
- the necessary size and flexibility
- good contacts to national and international consultancies with whom we co-operate
- a strong, multilingual team of consultants
Only a community of specialists capable of offering their clients tailor-made solutions can provide qualified tax-law and business consulting.
The experience.
Our history.
Our consulting office is young: It was founded in October of 2004 by Dr. Alexander Tauber, who had collected considerable professional experience in several renowned consulting offices in South Tyrol. The number of clients – and thus also the size of the advisory team – grew rapidly probably due to the high quality of the consulting services and the personal, individual support. In 2009, former coworkers Dr. Silvan Bernardi and Dr. Matthias Karl came on as partner and “TAUBER | KARL | BERNARDI” was founded. In 2017, Dr. Harald Munter has become part of the partnership and together the four Auditors and Tax consultants, as experienced experts in their fields, form the core of a young, committed team composed of 17 people.
This short history reflects our basic concept: We offer competence and quality that is comparable with that offered by the larger consulting offices. This is combined with a personal relationship, an excellent working climate (that is also important for maintaining a good long-term relationships with our clients) and the individuality and familiarity of a young and compact consulting office. Even if we have not developed a completely new idea, it is still very successful!

Dr. Alexander Tauber
National and International Tax Law, VAT issues, Real Estate, Corporate Law (focus on re-foundations).
Degree in “Economics and Business” at the University of Trento, graduation in July of 1996. Internship and professional experience in several consulting offices in Bozen/Bolzano (1997-2003). Government certification as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in 2000. Opening of his own consulting office in Brixen/Bressanone in October of 2004. Founding partner of “Tauber Karl Munter” since 2009.
Dr. Matthias Karl
National and International Tax Law, VAT issues, direct registrations of non-resident companies, financial bookkeeping, annual reports according to national and international accounting standards, reporting, Contract Law, Data Protection Law, Electronic Invoicing.
Degree in Business Administration at the University of Innsbruck (Austria), graduation in February of 2001. Internship as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in Bozen/Bolzano (2002-2005). Government certification as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in 2006. Freelancer in the Consulting Office of Alexander Tauber (2007-2008). Founding partner of “Tauber Karl Munter” since 2009.
Dr. Harald Munter

Government certification as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in 2013. Freelancer in the Consulting Office of “Tauber Karl Bernardi” (2009 – 2016). Partner of “Tauber Karl Munter” since 2017.
Armin Kofler
Degree in Business Administration at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) an University Bocconi in Milan, graduation in december of 1999. Internship as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in Sterzin/Vipiteno and Brixen/Bressanone (2000-2003). Government certification as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in 2005. Freelancer in the Consulting Office from 2018.
Gerhard Gasser
Degree in Business Administration at the University of Innsbruck (Austria), graduation in february of 2011. Internship as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in Brixen/Bressanone (2015-2018). Government certification as Tax Consultant in 2020. Freelancer in the Consulting Office from 2015.
Raphaela Rossmann
Degree in „Law and Business Administration” at the Catholic University of Milan, graduation in September of 2017. Internship as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in Brixen/Bressanone (2017-2020). Government certification as Account Auditor and Tax Consultant in 2020. Freelancer in the Consulting Office since 2017.
Moritz Schorn
Degree in Business Administration at the University of Verona and Innsbruck (Austria), graduation in May of 2000. Extra-occupational course for applied informatics at the MCI Innsbruck, certificate in 2002 and course for mediation procedures and conflict management, diploma in 2013. Long-standing cooperation in several Tax Consulting Offices and head of department in the service cooperative society of a trade association. Employee in the Consulting Office since 2022.

Because of the special autonomy of the province of South Tyrol it is permitted to employ German in all official communications – including those with government authorities. If your company becomes legally domiciled in South Tyrol, all company documents – meeting minutes, contracts, company by-laws, annual reports, etc. – can be written in German. Besides our linguistic and professional qualifications, one should not underestimate the strategic advantage of completely bilingual consultants familiar with both the German and the Italian mentality and thus perfectly suited for mediating possible conflicts.
